The participating members of the Triangle Child and Adolescent Resources (Triangle CAAR) are experienced professionals who provide a wide variety of services for children, adolescents, and young adults in the Raleigh-Cary area.  Our network includes psychologists, psychiatrists, psychiatric social workers, and educational specialists.  Our common bond is our high level of expertise and our dedication to helping children and teenagers. 

Although members of our group have specialized training in providing psychological and related services to children and adolescents, families, and school staff, most also provide a range of services to adults as well.  By contacting our group, you obtain access to a broad range of experienced professionals, with a wide array of therapeutic, assessment, and advocacy skills.  You can feel confident that by contacting a participating member of Triangle CAAR, you will be connected with an expert able to help you in your family’s area(s) of need.  If no one in our group provides the precise service you seek, our website contains links to alternative resources in the community. Each of us is committed to collaborating closely with pediatricians, primary care physicians, neurologists, speech and language therapists, school counselors and psychologists, physical and occupational therapists, and other specialists.  Triangle CAAR members participate in regular meetings for consultation and training and are always available to each other for consultation and networking.

A range of services provided by participating members including:

  • Individual, group, parent, and family therapy
  • Psychological, neuropsychological, and psycho-educational assessment
  • School consultation, tutoring, and help in educational planning
  • Collaboration and consultation with other professionals as needed
  • Specialized evaluations and counseling for college students and adult learners and their families
  • Medication treatment
